The death of Charlie Kirk sparked a mass media frenzy; most notably in the black community. Blacks were reprimanded for displaying any compassion, remorse, or grief of a life lost which happened in front of the brother’s wife, children and a plethora of young college students. Blacks cited their Christian faith as the generation of feeling for a life lost regardless of race, political views, or the propagated hate speech perpetuated by the powers that be.
Immediately the social media propaganda machine went to work demanding all so-called black people to put their race above their beliefs. The beast cried out for all blacks to band together for the sake of skin color to condemn, shame, and humiliate the man who had been killed by the hands of a man controlled by a demon. The propaganda machine repeatedly scorned blacks who refused to bend the knee with rhetoric such as “You were born black before you were Christian”, “Any black person who feels remorse is a slave”, and of course the good old meme of Samuel L. Jackson mourning the loss of Leonardo DiCaprio from the movie D’Jango.
The problem that the beast didn’t take into account is that the true follower of Christ will never bend the knee to a false god or idolatry regardless of the skin they’re in.
The Science of Race
Before the dawn of the 1600’s, people were classified by their geographical location, climate, nation, and the cultural norms of the society. During the mid 19th century, the study of Scientific Racism became prominent in American and European Academia and remained until the first half of the 20th century.
The science was most significantly pioneered by Francois Bernier, a French traveler, physician, and philosopher https://academic.oup.com/hwj/article-abstract/50/1/1/635555. A snippet of his work describing the whole of African people, apart from the coastal areas reads in part:
The explanation for their distinct type must be sought in their sperm and their blood, both of which are the same colour as their skin, which is quite oily, supple, and polished…their beards consist of only three or four strands, their hair is not truly hair but instead a sort of wool.
About the women he writes in part:
Certainly there are lovely ones and ugly ones to be found everywhere. Among the Blacks of Africa, I have seen very beautiful women who did not have thick lips and snub noses..At Moka, I saw several of them completely naked waiting to be sold…there could be nothing lovelier…
The Code Noir or “Black Code” was released just one year after Francois’ detailed writings and defined slavery as a hereditary condition justified by race. This also cemented the fallacy of racial superiority https://www.theoriesofrace.com/1/.
Bernier’s writings initiated the scientific endeavor to prove that “black” people did not originate from the God of the Bible, therefore subjugation to chattel slavery should be permissible.
Louis Agassiz became an abundant and revered writer in the genre of scientific racism, advocating for the idea of polygenism meaning that the various human races come from different creators as opposed to a common ancestor https://collections.countway.harvard.edu/onview/exhibits/show/this-abominable-traffic/agassiz-and-polygenism/polygenism. Agassiz’s work was a further attempt at solidifying the false notion of racial superiority and the slavery caste.
During the second half of the 20th century, scientific racism was discredited, criticized and considered obsolete https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientific_racism.
W.E.B. Du Bois debated that racism was taught rather than inherent and that racial scientism was a closed study not open to new data making its proponents unscientific https://daily.jstor.org/w-e-b-dubois-fought-scientific-racism/.

Race and Idolatry
In the Christian and all Abrahamic religions, there is given the 10 Commandments. The first 2 read:
1. You shall have no other gods before me
2. You shall make no idols.
Idolatry can be defined as excessive attachment or devotion to something. By way of Merriam-Webster, a god can be defined as a person or thing of supreme value, to treat as a god; idolize. We have reviewed that race is a fallacy created to justify an evil practice of slavery and permanently discredited by the scientific community which means there is no truth in it.
What we can draw from these definitions is that idolatry is the making of anything into a position of god in your life, thus giving it supreme value above all else. When a Christian of any skin color is pushed to bend the knee to anything other than God, we are being asked to put something that is moveable, changeable, a liar, and conditional into the position of One who is immoveable, unchangeable, and Truthful in all Ways.
The world is constantly attempting to influence those who live in it. It tells us that Christianity is a fairy tale religion with no base in science, archeology, history, or truth when in fact, it created science, the study of archeology only proves the historical writings found in the Bible to be substantial with the conclusion being that it is True.
To all my brothers and sisters reading this, consider the words from our brother Paul in the Book of Acts 10:34-25 which reads:
I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism but accepts from every nation the one who fears Him and does what is right.

Ephesians 6:10-20
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might.
Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
With Love,
Mother Ocia
