There Is Hope

Reading the Epstein Files disturbed me so that it was difficult for me to sleep until I wrote Reject The Influence. Writing allowed me to release the knowledge that held me in a position of “What do I do about this?” and “How can I help?” Once something so horrendous is released into the public, once the scope of how things are operating in this world are revealed, it is easy to lose hope.

Social media is filled with accounts that suggest we have no power in this fight against evil. The world is attempting to suggest that we must succumb to the powers that be and accept the desperation and moral violations that come with it. I know that there is One more just and more powerful than all the evil forces combined. I know that there is hope.

What is Hope?

In English, the word hope has an abstract definition of wanting something to happen or be true. In Hebrew, the word and meaning go much deeper. The word Tikvah means expectation or cord. The root word for tikvah is qavah meaning to wait, bind together, and to expect.

The Hebrew word for tikvah comes from the word tesfa (tesf) from the Ethiopian and Eritrean language model, meaning aspiration and looking forward to a positive outcome. The Greek word for hope is elpis which means anticipate, expect, and abstract or concrete confidence.

In ancient language models, words were tied to the supernatural and the creation and meaning of words were subject to reverence. In the case of the above definitions, each of these are associated with God with the certainty that God will bring justice, goodwill, and a future for the one who holds tight to the expectation.

Hope is not just a vague dreamy desire of good things to happen, it is the active waiting and expectation with confidence that justice in every sense will happen and the truth will make itself so evident that only a reprobate mind would reject it.

How do I get Hope?

We now understand that hope is not some simple wish, but an active and confident living word that has it’s roots in God. Our souls are safe being tied to God and the hope He has to offer us. We know that this world is going to be filled with injustice and brutality but what we also know is that injustices will be called forward and persecuted whether in the court of law or the Court of God.

We can hold fast with confidence that evil will not overcome the souls of the earth’s inhabitants, but on the contrary, the souls of the earth have the strength to utilize those spiritual rights given to us by God to make the corner of the world we live in that much more pleasant. The world cannot take from you the hope God has blessed you to hold.

Hope can be obtained first by understanding that it is a God given right that no man can take away from you.

Hope can then be obtained by clinging to what is good and having the confidence that whatever talent you were blessed with can be used to spread the light of life to others and affect the future.

Hope can also be obtained with repetitive practicing and meditation. Meditation is the practice of rolling something over and over again in your mind. To think on it often. Practicing something as simple as the definition of hope, rolling over in your mind that justice will be served, that you are confident in your future, that you have divine rights assigned with your soul in this gift of life will help you in obtaining and retaining hope.

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Romans 12:12

Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.

Isaiah 40:31

But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
