How To Break A Soul Tie

Some of us find ourselves wanting to let go of someone but can’t find the ability or strength to do so. We consider the negatives and we may even understand that we are not in Love with the person we want to break away from and still we find ourselves thinking of what they are doing, wondering why they haven’t called and asking ourselves what is wrong with us and why we aren’t good enough for them to commit.

When we do hear from them, we secretly feel validated. We throw ourselves into the temporary intimacy of what feels like it could be Love only to find ourselves drained from the energetic exchange. Instead of being filled up, we find ourselves completely empty with a mix of inner emotions that feel nothing short of negative.

So what is this we are experiencing? In this article we will discuss what Soul Ties are and how to break them.

What are Soul Ties?

A soul tie is the binding of your inner self with another. It is formed through an intimate act and can be felt strongly by one or both parties. Soul ties can be very difficult to unbind as the spirit (or spirits) that the other party retained are easily transferred to us and can maintain a cyclical nature until the bond is broken.

Soul ties not only infiltrate the spirit, but the mind, body, and atmosphere of the one who has become entangled in them. When we bind ourselves to another prematurely, we are not yet aware of what they are battling on the inside.

How Are Soul Ties Transferred?

People are fighting lust, anger, depression, anxiety, hate, greed, and a plethora of other spirits they release themselves of through the intimate act of sex. Our agreement to engage in intercourse with said individual, opens up our being to accept everything the other is desiring to release and ties us to the inner person.

When we are in the throws of what our mind perceives as romance, our spirits are intertwining and receiving one another. No matter what you may believe in, one thing is undeniable, the purpose of sex is to bring forth life. Life can be defined as the sequence of mental and physical experiences of a person.

When we engage in sex with someone who is attempting to relieve themselves of their inner trouble, we are engaging in the practice of release and acceptance. As one (or both) are attempting to release themselves of the troubles in their life, the one is accepting the life the other is attempting to put off.

So the question remains, how do you break a soul tie?

How To Break A Soul Tie

The first step to breaking a soul tie is to realize that we have been bound through the act of sex to the spiritual bond of another and the only way to break a spiritual bond is through the power of The Most High God.

This world will make it seem as though there is nothing outside of the physical world though our ancient ancestors spoke of the spiritual plane in all cultures throughout history. Understanding that we do not operate in this world alone and that we are not the supreme being on planet Earth can help us to accept that breaking something as strong and invisible as a soul tie will take something Stronger and The Highest Supreme.

The second step to breaking a soul tie is to trust the process. An injury goes through several healing steps, some more painful than others, before it is completely healed. We too must understand that we opened ourselves up to the injury of accepting someone into us that had no intentions of taking care of it for the duration of this life. Therefore, we must give ourselves time to breathe, grieve, forgive ourselves, and heal.

The third step to breaking a soul tie is to keep the Love we have inside of us for the one who it was meant for. When we go through something as traumatic as a soul tie, we feel like we have been fooled into believing in Love. Some of us (myself included) have made vows to ourselves to never fall in Love or give Love again. This is not a power move or a winning combination. It robs you of the true Love and Joy that we can be blessed to experience with the right one and above all else, that we deserve to give ourselves.

The final step to breaking a soul tie is to pray for the other person. Once we are healed we wanna pull a nana boo boo on the other. A “HAHA I’m Healed and You’re not!” so to speak. What we should do instead is pray for them to be healed from the torment they must be experiencing running from body to body in search of inner peace. Give the other person grace without letting them back into you and remember that once upon a time, you too hurt someone.

Ephesians 6:12

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Colossians 3:13

Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others.

Hebrews 12:14-15

Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord. Look after each other so that none of you fails to receive the grace of God. Watch out that no poisonous root of bitterness grows up to trouble you, corrupting many.
