An estimated total of 3,000 lives have been taken through the war in Iran but exact numbers have yet to be reported. 168 of those deaths were school girls aged 7-12 via a bombing that took place by U.S. Forces during school hours.
All over social media, there are deceived Christians who support these actions in the name of God as they deem it a “Biblical Right” of the people of Israel to inhabit the land and build the Third Temple. What these Christians do not understand is that the Nation State of Israel and the Biblical Children of Israel are NOT the same. In addition, the god of Zionism and the God of Judaism are NOT the same.
What is Zionism?
Zionism was originally established as a Jewish national or religious community in the historical region of Palestine in late 19th century Europe and is named after Mt. Zion associated with a hill in Jerusalem and mentioned in the Hebrew Bible. Yaacov Yadgar, a professor of political science born to Iranian Jewish parents, stated that Zionism rejects traditional Judaism which is seen as a negative factor. Yadgar argues that Zionism desires to replace the religious and historical practices of Judaism with a new form of nationalism loose of tradition. To put it simply, Zionism is the belief in the current nation state of Israel, it’s borders, and allegiance to the political state, while Judaism is the allegiance to God and his Law above all else.
Foundational Zionist also agreed with Anti-Semitic remarks that Diaspora Jews were degenerates with a morally, psychologically, and physically debased race. They proposed that that these disabilities could be cured by a relocation to Palestine creating a “New Jew”. In 1922, the British governed the “Mandate for Palestine” which privileged Jewish settlers over the Palestine natives. Shortly after in 1948, a war broke out expanding the current state of Israel’s borders by 78% and leaving only 18% of the native Palestinian population.
Between 1948-1950, the British assisted in “Operation Magic Carpet” in which they flew in an estimated 48,000 Jews from Yemen to the new state of Israel. During the time of their arrival, these Yemenite Jews were labeled “Mizrahi” meaning those of the East. This made a clear segregation between them and the European Ashekanzi Jews. They were forced to live in tents and til the land. An estimated 5,000 Yemenite Jewish babies were stolen and given to the childless Ashkenazi Jew to raise. The state of Israel did not address this horrific crime until 2017.
Ethiopian Jews were not allowed to take up residency in Israel until the late 1970’s early 1980’s. Once they arrived, they received racial discrimination, persecution, and brutality. As recently as 2015, an Ethiopian Israeli soldier was beaten by a policeman for unprovoked causes. In 2017, Israel also admitted that they injected Ethiopian Jews with birth control without their consent. This is an act of eugenics or the purification of a desired blood line, white.
Christians Should NOT Support Zionism
It saddens me to see Christians supporting a political ideology under the assumption that it is God’s Will. The Bible is very clear that God doesn’t need us to do His work, He invites us to it.
There is a theory that the war in Iran is an eschatological one. One in which the State of Israel is attempting to rebuild the Third Temple in order to bring down the Messiah and the Battle of Armageddon. There is no Christian that should be supporting this ideology as reading the Bible will tell you that the end times are not something to rejoice on, but something to prepare to die for.
The Bible tells us that a beast will be wounded and healed causing all to worship him as God. Whoever does not, will be murdered and this beast will be given power to make war with the saints and overcome them. The Bible also tells us that Jesus is the Third Temple, not one built by human hands. I hasten you to note that the phrase “Christ is King” is being seen as Anti-Zionism/Anti-Semitism in the United States of America.
Supporting Zionism is not the same as supporting the Children of Israel. Please beware of the wolf in sheep’s clothing for the Devil roams about like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour.
